New Black and Pewter Jewelry

I'm in the process of adding some new items for Winter and Valentine's Day.  I recently made a bracelet like the one above for my mom for Christmas.  She loves silver and black together, so it was a perfect combination for her.

And just in time for the new year, you can now order your own Black & Pewter Elegance Bracelet.

I've also created a pair of  Black & Pewter Elegance Earrings  to match.

And for all my readers and friends, I've just added a new coupon code so that you can get 15% off your next order.  Just enter the code: HAPPYNEWYEAR  at check out!

New Purple and Red Bracelets

Although I haven't had much time for posting on my jewelry, I have been hard at work adding new listings.  And I also have some giveaway promotions in the works for the holidays.

Today I'm sharing my newest listing with you.  This is a large bracelet, however, I can adjust it to fit all sizes.  Pretty In Purple Bracelet.  It is a really lovely piece!

I also have a very similar design in red.  It would be a lovely choice for the holidays!  The listing is here.

If you like my jewelry, please stop by Sumo's Sweet Stuff later this week, because I will be having a giveaway promotion starting on Wednesday!

Personalized Book Page Wreath

I'm really excited to offer these book page initial wreath in my shop.  I just made one of these for my home and am planning to make more for a few members of my family.

And even though I generally sell jewelry in my shop, I discussed it with my husband, and he agreed that it would be a great idea to offer these as a custom, made to order, item in my shop.

The base of the wreath is an embroidery hoop, covered in fabric and then covered in book pages.

It's then adroend with hand folded book page fans. (I can also replace some of the fans with round pinwheels, if you like those.)  And each fan is topped with a shiny black button for added color and definition.   In the center, each wreath will feature a black initial, surrounded by a field of white (could also be surrounded by a book page, if you like that better) and then surrounded by a field of black felt.

The initial in this featured wreath is in Caesar font, but for your custom order, I'll be happy to do the initial in the font of your choice.  And finally a black ribbon is included for easy hanging.

The wreath pictured here is 14 inches in diameter (perfect for any door or wall).  I can also create the wreath using a smaller hoop or a larger hoop.  If you'd like a different size, you can email me, and I'll give a price quote for the wreath and the shipping.

If you like earthy tones, you'll love this cute Tree pendant.  The tree is brown, and it has a few fallen leaves, and beside the tree is a small mushroom, and it's set against a background of green grass and a blue sky.  A 24 inch ball chain with lobster class is included with this listing.

Western Style Charm Bracelet

I first created a Western Style bracelet last year as a Christmas present for a friend, and I decided to make another for the shop.

The charms are pewter, and they include a cowboy hat, arrowhead, horse, Indian head, a longhorn cow, and a boot.  And the beads are clear Czech glass and silver.  This bracelet also features an adjustable chain and lobster clasp.

Measurements and more details are posted in my shop.  If you'd like a charm bracelet featuring a particular theme send me an email, and we can talk about a special listing.

Very Blue Earrings

I absolutely love the color blue!  For this pair of earrings, I used blue and cobalt blue beads.  The colors blend very well together, while at the same time, providing a slight contrast with one another.

And like my other Czech glass creations, they sparkle and shine!

Please check out this shop listing, which includes a new lower shipping rate!

And don't foget that this month's special is a free bracelet with any purchase!

Free Bracelets!

I have a huge supply of beaded bracelets.  These are some of the first pieces of jewelry that I made, and since I was just practicing and experimenting, most of these are made with plastic beads and metal spacers.

I would keep them all for myself, but I have a ton of bracelets, and I just don't really need all of them!  In the future I may list some of these in my shop, perhaps in lots of 3 to 5, but for right now I've decided to try and give some of these babies away!
This month if you buy any item in my shop, I'll throw in a free stretch cord bracelet! Colors and designs vary.  If you make a purchase, I'll try to give you a bracelet that's similar in color to the item you purchase, or I'll ask you for a color preference.  So the giveaway will not be totally random; you will get some choice!

These are one size fits most, varying in size from about seven to eight and half inches, and they would be great for kids or adults.

The pictures in this post are just a few of the ones I have.  And I'll try to post some others in a few days.

Thanks so much for looking! Please visit my shop: http://jhrivers.etsy.com/

I'll be adding lots of items for the holidays soon and am in the process of coming up with some holiday packaging.

Clear Petites

I sold a pair of these Clear petites through a special listing back in July, and finallly decided to relist them here.    I also have these with a third bead added to the bottom, following the Past-Present-Future Motif that came out a few years ago.  So if anyone is interested in that, Ill add those to my shop as well.

I also plan to relist the blue petites very soon, and I'll also be adding Red and Black Petites for the first time.

My Newest Earrings in Black & Silver

I just listed these lovely earrings in my shop.  I titled them, "Black Bead and Flower Dangle Earrings."  Not the most creative of names, but as I understand it, it's better to give them a name that's easily searchable, and this is the best thing I could come up with to describe them!

Anyway, I just recently made these, and I'm very happy with how they turned out. They're actually may be my favorite thing that I've made so far.  I don't know about you, but I just love silver/white colored jewelry, and I also love it when it's paired with black, so this is just the perfect combination for me.

Here's a link to the shop listing if you're interested in purchasing: Black Bead and Flower Dangle Earrings

And these are included in my Buy One, Get One Half Off and my Buy 2, Get One Free offer!

Thanks for looking!  For other black and silver colored jewelry, please check out my shop.  I have a couple of other things there and will probably add some more black earrings soon.

Christmas in September? Okay!

I know it's way early for Christmas, but when you're a blogger or a crafter, you gotta think ahead, and since I'm already seeing some preparations for holiday promotions happening, I decided to go ahead and list these beauties this week!

These earrings are surgical steel and feature Czech glass beads in Siam Ruby and Blue-Green.  And they are dazzling!  For a full description and more pics, please see the listing in my shop.

Since I've only just started the shop this year, I won't be listing too many Christmas items (although I will have several items that would make great gifts. Hint. Hint. And some of these will be of the red or green persuasion, if you are looking for something festive for the holidays.  Also, I'll be happy to make a custom item for Christmas if you would like.  So please keep me in mind this season!

By the way, while we're talking about Christmas promotions, if you are a shop owner yourself, you should visit my blog in the next few weeks for details on a Christmas promotion for you shop.  Or if you're interested in a Christmas promotion, and you can't wait, email me, and I'll tell you all about it!

Hoot Hoot! Calling the Owl Lovers!

I bought this adorable owl bag either 2 or 3 years ago.  At the time I just thought it was a cute bag that would be fun to carry for the fall.  Little did I know just how popular owls would be in the near future!

I was buying some charms a while back to go on a bracelet I was making for myself and one of the charms I chose was an owl like the one above.  Since owls are so popular these days I decided to get some more owl charms and make them into a pair of earrings.

I've set them here in a little Halloween themed photo shoot of sorts, but I'd definitely have to say that owls are not just for Halloween anymore!

Go by my shop for exact measurements and more pictures of these cuties! Here's a link to the current listing.

Also, don't forget my September promotion!  All items in my shop priced at $5 or less are buy one, get one 1/2 off  AND buy 2, get one free! See my shop policies for full details!

Falling Leaf Bracelet

This is my Falling Leaf Charm Bracelet.  It is light and shimmery and will add a touch of class to any outfit!

It wasn't necessarily made to go with the Falling Leaf Earrings I shared earlier, as the bracelet features olive green beads and the earrings do not, but they'd still go very well together.

The beaded charms are wirewrapped and were made by me.  They are made from an assortment of Czech Glass Beads, Silver Plated Copper Beads, and Metal Spacer Beads.

More pictures and details can be found in my shop listing.  You can purchase this bracelet and all my other creations in my etsy shop!

Falling Leaf Earrings

These fun dangle earrings are perfect for fall or all year round!  I love silver colored jewelry, so when I found these leaf charms, I had to have them!  I put them together with some clear-colored Czech glass beads for a classic, elegant look that goes great with all outfits.

I also have a falling leaf charm bracelet and a pair of owl earrings that I'm adding to my shop for the fall season and perhaps a couple more pairs of petites!

Posting at these blog parties!

Advertising and Swaps

I'm not currently purchasing ad space, as my shop is small and I have a small budget at the moment.  However, I'd be happy to discuss an ad swap. I have lots of followers on my main blog Simply Sweet Home, and I'd love to display your button or etsy mini there in exchange for having my ad or etsy mini displayed on your page.

I also may be willing to discuss sponsoring a blog giveaway or exchanging giveaways. (I host a giveaway for you. You host a giveaway for me.)

We could also do an  item review swap, or even just an item swap if you'd like.

Feel free to contact me at simplysweethome@hotmail.com or send me a convo on etsy to discuss.

Cupcake Necklaces & Charms

Cupcakes! Get your cupcakes here! Okay, it’s not real cupcakes. It’s cupcake jewelry. I bought these adorable little cupcake charms back a few minutes ago, and I decided to offer them in my etsy shop along with a ball chain.

The cupcake is chocolate (brown) with strawberry (pink) frosting. And of course white sprinkles!

Because there’s no actual work involved in this, I’m selling the cupcake charm and chain for the cost of materials. I currently have one for sale in my shop, but I also have another one I can add if anybody is interested in them.

I can also substitute the ball chain for a slide chain if you prefer. And if anyone would like the charms without the chains, I can revise the price for you. Just let me know!

I'll be sure to post it here, and I'll be add your link to the new "Featured" page I just created as well!  I'd also be happy to do an ad swap with you.  If you're interested, please email me!

Fancy Black Memory Wire Bracelet

Sometime ago I listed one of my favorite bracelets that I’ve made. I call it the Little Black Dress Bracelet, or Little Black Bracelet, if you will. The listing for it is about to expire, but I may relist it.

It’s a memory wire bracelet made Czech glass beads and metal spacers. The coloring on these is so remarkable. They are shiny and black, with swirls of red, green, and gold on them. Very pretty!

And I’ve also just listed a pair of matching earrings. When I make earrings I try to only make things that I would wear myself. For this reason, most of my earrings are small and simple, yet elegant with a touch of whimsy and fun. I think these definitely fit into that category.

Personally I would wear this bracelet and earring set with any black outfit. They’d be perfect with dress wear or everyday wear. And the other colors that are swirled in to the beads make this set perfect to go with colored outfits as well. Very versatile!

Check out my etsy store at http://jhrivers.etsy.com/ for more cute jewelry at great prices!

On Sale - Orange Crush Bracelet

Ordinarily I'm not real big on orange, but I really love how all the different shades of orange work together in this bracelet.  This is one of the first stretchy-cord bracelets I made.  The beads are made from different materials, some glass, some lampwork, some plastic. This is designed for casual wear.  It's very fun and very cute!

Listing for this bracelet will expire Wednesday. I've reduced the price down to $4.50 (+shipping). Not sure if I will relist, unless someone requests the item.

Butterfly Dance Charm Bracelet

This is one of the first charm bracelets I made.  The Butterfly DanceCharm Bracelet features every color of the rainbow. It would go wonderfully with dress clothes or casual wear, and it will add personality and flair to any outfit. It is available in my etsy shop here, and the listing is set to end on Aug 6.

This bracelet features 4 pewter butterfuly charms and 10 colored bead charms. The bracelet measures 7.5 inches and has a lobster clasp.

If you like this design, I can also do a special order with your favorite color(s) of beads.
